A drought-deciduous to evergreen California native shrub with finely divided, aromatic silver-gray foliage and a loose, rounded habit. Inconspicuous summer flower heads provide habitat value while the foliage brings soft texture to coastal sage scrub and restoration plantings. Performs best with good drainage and very little summer irrigation once established.
