An evergreen, single-rosette succulent with broad, cupped, powder-blue leaves. Its bold shape makes a strong accent in rock gardens, dry beds, slopes, and large pots. The parent species grows in the high country of northeast Mexico. Mature plants send up a tall yellow-green flower stalk.
