Botanical Name: Achillea millefolium

Common Name: Common Yarrow, Milfoil

A self-sowing perennial that attracts butterflies and other pollinators. Low-growing leaves are ferny, dark gray-green, and aromatic. Flat-topped flower umbels grow in shades of white, yellow, orange, pink, and red on 1 - 3 foot tall stems. Tolerant of drought, wind, and heat. Some cultivars are naturalized to California.
