Common Name: Giant Chain Fern

A large evergreen fern with a clumping habit. Fronds are deep green, leathery, and arching. Pinnae are divided into a fishbone pattern. Sori develop in a chain-like pattern on the undersides of pinnae. Native to western North America, including California.
