Common Name: Firebird Border Penstemon, Beardtongue

A perennial with upright stems, multi-branching from the base. Green leaves are lance-shaped and oppositely arranged. Spikes of tubular, bell-shaped flowers are bright cherry red with white throats. Blooms in waves from late spring to fall. Attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators. Vigorous and heavy blooming.
