Common Name: Garnet Border Penstemon, Beardtongue

A perennial with upright-sprawling stems, multi-branching from the base. Green leaves are more slender than the species. Spikes of tubular, bell-shaped flowers are garnet red. Super abundant blooms from late spring to fall. Attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators. Longer lived than most other penstemons.
