Common Name: Variegated Purple Fountain Grass

A warm-season ornamental grass with a fountain-like form. Purple to buff flower panicles are fuzzy, long and tassle-like. Throughout summer, feathery plumes top the slender leaf blades. Variegated foliage is striped in white, green, burgundy and pink. Fine in containers. Tolerates poor soils and drought once established. Does not self-sow.
