Botanical Name: Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio'

Common Name: Adagio Japanese Silver Grass, Eulalia, Dwarf Maidenhair Grass

An ornamental perennial grass that forms a dwarf, fountain-like clump. Fine, arching leaves are silvery gray-green. Fall foliage turns orange-purple in cool climates. From late summer to frost, tall stalks are topped with pinkish, tassel-like flowerheads that mature to large, fluffy, tan-white plumes. Flower stalks extend 1 - 2 feet above the foliage.
