A semi-evergreen vine with self-clinging stems that easily attach to most surfaces. Freely forms a mounding ground cover. Showy, spring flowers are yellow, trumpet-shaped, and lobed. Pairs of oval, glossy, green leaflets are centered by a forked, claw-like tendril. Used in herbal medicine. Can spread invasively.
