Botanical Name: Ziziphus jujuba 'Li'

Common Name: Li Chinese Date

A deciduous tree with spiny, twisting branches. Reddish-brown fruits are rounded, date-like, and contain pits. Self-fruitful, but sets fruit best when J. 'Lang' is nearby as a pollenizer. Harvest in early fall. Leaves are glossy, green, and egg-shaped.
