An herbaceous perennial that forms a bushy, floriferous mound. White, red-centered flowers are centrally clustered en masse like a crown above the foliage. Buds and stems are dark pink and fuzzy. Blooms from early spring into summer. Mid-green leaves are very large and fern-like. Leaf stalks are reddish-brown and elongated.
