Common Name: Monterey Bay Brush Cherry

A compact evergreen shrub that forms a dense, rounded screen. Takes well to shearing. Good for hedges or topiaries. Deep green leaves are glossy, oblong, and emerge reddish. Creamy white flowers are followed by burgundy, edible fruit that tastes best when processed, rather than raw.
