Common Name: Corkscrew Hazelnut, Harry Lauder's Walking Stick

A deciduous shrub or small tree with spectacularly contorted branches and twigs. Oval, bright green leaves have saw-toothed edges and turn yellow in fall. Pendulous, yellow catkins appear in winter. This hybrid typically does not bear fruit.
