A deciduous shrub with a broad, weeping form. Lacy, deeply-dissected palmate leaves divide into 5 to 9 pointed lobes. Bright green leaves emerge in spring, then change to gold with red streaks in fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. Needs slightly acidic soil.
