Common Name: Threadleaf Japanese Maple
A broad, multi-branching deciduous tree with palmate leaves that are smaller than typical. Summertime foliage is bright green, and then turns fiery orange, gold, and red in fall. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras. The only 'dissectum' cultivar with an upright form. Needs slightly acidic soil.
