We strive to provide the most compelling shopping experience possible through superior customer service, expert product knowledge, and premium quality plants.
History
Devil Mountain was established in 1995 as a wholesale plant broker in San Ramon, CA. Driven to overcome the limited plant palettes available to architects, designers, and landscape contractors, our founder set out to find and procure whatever plants necessary to meet any-and-all design specifications.
From the beginning, our company has been relentlessly dedicated to delivering what you need, when you need it, at the best quality available.
That’s why Devil Mountain has more varieties of plant material on the ground than any other wholesale nursery in California.
To help ensure the variety and quality our customers deserve, we opened our first growing grounds in 2006.
In 2017 and 2018, respectively, we opened our Petaluma and Morgan Hill stores to better serve customers in the North Bay and San Jose/Monterey region.
In 2020, Devil Mountain acquired BrightView Tree Company and launched a new nursery in Redondo Beach, marking the company’s expansion into Southern California. Two years later we acquired DM Color Express, continuing their long history of quality plants and service for landscape professionals in Orange and San Diego Counties.
Throughout our company’s history, we’ve cultivated the largest network of quality growers so we can confidently and quickly get you the plants you need.
Today
Today, Devil Mountain has fourteen locations, serving landscape professionals across California. Devil Mountain is a proud supporter of the following trade organizations: APLD, CLCA, Plant California Alliance, ASLA, and ReScape California.
