Amanda was born in Gilroy and raised on a small farm in San Martin. After graduating from Live Oak High School in 1999, Amanda focused on her career at Johnson Lumber/Ace Hardware working her way up to the accounting department. Amanda then transitioned to Johnson Garden Center when it opened in 2006. That is when she really discovered her passion for plants & enjoyed assisting customers with garden design. Her next opportunity was at a wholesale nursery where she expanded her management, growing and design skills. In 2013, Amanda began working as an office manager for a commercial landscape company before coming on board with Devil Mountain. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, baseball, music and spending time with her French bulldog Dayzee.
