Habitat for Humanity

November 18, 2019

In the wake of fire season Sonoma County has remained as resilient as ever, determined to rebuild their communities stronger and smarter than they were, before the devastation brought by Tubbs and Kincade. With efforts led by Sonoma County Habitat for Humanity and Rebuild Wine Country to build temporary housing for families directly impacted by fires, nine cottages have been erected in Santa Rosa for some immediate housing relief. The cottages were designed by Marianne Cusato, University of Notre Dame School of Architecture faculty member and designer of the Katrina Cottage. Devil Mountain Wholesale has joined the project by working with these organizations to donate all plant material needed for the landscaping around the development.
